Luiz Campoy

Luiz Campoy is a Brazilian artist, civil engineer and entrepreneur, born in São Caetano do Sul. He was awakened to art at the age of 14, when his connection with it emerged as knowledge contributes significantly to his creations and the evolution of his art.

His first exhibition took place at Casa Cor in Santo André, followed by Curto Circuito Pinacoteca (São Caetano do Sul - Brazil), and the 5th Vitrine Pinacoteca (São Caetano do Sul - Brazil). Since then, Luiz has taken part in several international exhibitions, such as the International Contemporary Art Salon, Le Carrousel du Louvre Exhibition (Paris - France), Virtual Exhibition at the Kiki Sterling Gallery (Atual, Laval - Canada), Virtual Exhibition at 1819 Art Gallery (Madrid, Spain), Iberian Circuit (Porto, Algarve, Lisbon, Cascais - Portugal), among many others. He also has permanent artworks in the Ef_art_gallery (Dijon, France) and the Vins Coudurier Jung Gallery (Beaune, France). His artworks are mainly made from recyclable materials, such as stainless steel and iron, and inspired by everyday life around me. His creativity transforms worn-out and forgotten pieces of scrap metal to be recreated, gaining new meanings and fulfilling the purpose of awakening and intriguing. Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.
